Why do you need Cattle Pregnancy Test?
Early detection of non-pregnant cows allows them to be quickly re-inseminated.
Early Pregnancy Detection of Non- pregnant cows as early as on 20th day after insemination.
If the time to re-insemination is reduced, the reproductive performance of the dairy herd should be improved too.
Eearly pregnancy diagnosis remains a key factor in improving reproductive performance.
Study revealed that only 38-40% of all inseminations perform shows positive in pregnancy so regular pregnancy test is a very useful tool to differentiate between pregnant and non-pregnant cows.
Study also showed that on an average, insemination has to be performed three times before the animal become pregnant and a single insemination may not produce a calf. For a successful pregnancy cow may require more inseminations followed by post-insemination pregnancy test regularly.
It has been noticed that nearly 20-30% of non-pregnant animals have irregular or extended estrogen cycle and did not return to heat on 21st post-insemination day but may return to heat anywhere between 25-40th post-insemination day and give a false impression of pregnancy, but routine pregnancy test after post-insemination will clear this confusion.
